The Saint Disdier guesthouse has 15 beds available all year round (closed annually in November).
You can stay here as an individual or as part of a group, for one night or several days, on a half-board or full-board basis, in a dormitory.
You also have the option of having a meal without accommodation, simply by booking the day before.
The gîte has been converted from the attic of the village’s former presbytery, which gives it its unique character.
Its 15-bed dormitory is unusual and offers a degree of privacy thanks to an ingenious system of curtains. Duvets, blankets, pillows and pillowcases are provided; you’ll just need to bring your own sleeping bag or duvet. The dormitory is practical and organised so that you can put down, store and hang up all your belongings.
The bathroom facilities consist of shared washbasins, two shower cubicles and three toilets. Towels are not provided.
In the communal lounge, you’ll have the pleasure of sharing hearty, delicious home-cooked meals. I prepare the original, wholesome cuisine myself using local, seasonal produce, most of which is organic.
A small sitting area with plenty of books, mountain guides and various games is available for you to relax in.
Depending on the season, you can enjoy the warmth of the stove or the garden, which features tables and benches with a magnificent view of the Obiou, one of the giants of the Dévoluy.
